Whitney Fox, a Democrat and mother of two, was born and raised in Tampa Bay by a single mother who was the first nurse at Moffitt Cancer Center. With a background in strategic communications and public policy, her commitment to improving lives is not just rhetoric – it’s her life’s work. Formerly serving as the Communications Director for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, Whitney spearheaded the successful SunRunner Bus Rapid Transit system.
While Anna Paulina Luna was busy playing politics, ignoring struggling families, and supporting extreme ideas (like a national abortion ban), Whitney has been working with Democrats and Republicans at the local, state, and federal level to deliver results for Pinellas County. We deserve better representation, one that focuses on the needs of hard working Americans and not chasing headlines.
If elected, Whitney will fight to protect women’s reproductive freedoms and healthcare, including access to IVF. She will push back against corporate price-gouging, protect Social Security and Medicare from cuts, and combat out of control homeowners insurance rates.
She will also fight to lower prescription drug costs and expand the $35 cap for insulin to everyone, not just seniors. Whitney’s message is resonating with voters, and the momentum and excitement continues to grow.
Whitney understands that a thriving community creates a thriving economy. This requires freedom and equality for all, access to quality public education, affordable healthcare, and safeguarding our environment. To keep the American Dream alive we must invest in and unleash the potential of our greatest asset – our people.
